What the riders say about the Synergy Surfskate Trucks
Slide 1 of 4
The Synergy truck is the leading technology when it comes to designing surfskate trucks. The careful and meticulous approach to balancing both the stability and articulation of the trucks is second to none. From the ability to squeeze all the range out of the bushings to changing the rear kingpin angle, this system does it all.
- Shane Lai
The highlights were that it has more forward momentum than most trucks, especially in the bowl/park. It has more stability when riding switch. The biggest take away was with a harder bushing the trucks seem to be better at self leveling when sliding, which helps the board not tip over/highside, allowing it to slide better than just about any other trucks. It’s likely that the longest possible stand up slides on a surfskate can be done with the Synergy surfskate system. We will see very soon. It is highly customizable allowing consumers, to instead of needing to buy a Carver CX and a C7, can easily get both experiences with the lone Synergy system. This over time could really save the average consumer money through eliminating the need to buy different trucks to achieve a different riding style. I would think that this among many other factors would help justify a higher price point. Such as the superior construction of the truck itself. Then there’s the rear degree variability and the spherical bearing used as pivot cups and insert bushings. There is a lot to this truck and I could talk about it all day.

I tested out the Synergy trucks and was instantly impressed with how smooth they flow. They manouevre so nimbly and respond to each subtle movement, giving the rider excellent control and precision when it comes to carves and slides. Despite feeling as smooth and flowy as a spring based system, they also bring the stability and durability of a bushing based system. On top of that, they have endless options for customizing so they will work for any rider on any deck. The addition of the new kingpin protecting bushing seat means I can do slappy curb grinds with no hangups or damage to the kingpin, a big advantage over some other bushing based surfskate trucks. No detail was overlooked in the design and I can now confirm that the attention to detail translates into performance on the ground. Definitely the surfskate system you'll want to have on your next setup.

Synergy's innovative design not only offers a smooth riding experience but also reduces the need to choose between different boards. Its adjustability suits any riding style, combining various experiences and allowing me to focus on the moment.
